Colombia’s AD Duty Order on Bus and Lorry Tyres Expires
Colombia’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism has declined to initiate a sunset review of the AD duty order on new pneumatic tyres of a kind used on buses or lorries classified under HTSCO 4011.20.1000 from mainland China. As a result, this AD duty order was allowed to expire on 12 June.
Brazil Temporarily Suspends AD Measures on Refractory Bricks
Brazil has suspended for public interest reasons the application of the AD duty order on magnesia refractory bricks classified under NCM 6902.10.18, 6902.10.19 and 6815.99.19 from mainland China. The suspension will be in place for a period of one year and may be renewed for an additional year.
Canada Makes Determination in AD/CV Sunset Review of Seamless Casing
The Canada Border Services Agency has issued a final affirmative dumping and countervailable subsidy determination in its expiry review of the AD and CV duty orders on seamless carbon or alloy steel oil and gas well casing, whether plain end, bevelled, threaded or threaded and coupled, heat-treated or non-heat-treated, meeting American Petroleum Institute (API) specification 5CT, with an outside diameter not exceeding 11.75 inches (298.5 mm), in all grades, including proprietary grades, classified under HTSCA 7304.29.0011, 7304.29.0019, 7304.29.0021 and 7304.29.0029, from mainland China. If the Canadian International Trade Tribunal issues an affirmative injury determination, these AD and CV duty orders will be renewed for an additional five years. If, on the contrary, the CITT issues a negative determination, the orders will be rescinded. The CITT determination is expected by 28 November.
Colombia Advances AD Probe on Citric Acid
Colombia has moved to the final phase of its AD duty investigation of citric acid classified under HTSCO 2918.14.0000 from mainland China. No provisional measures have been established, however.
Colombia Extends Provisional AD Duties on Galvanised Steel Wires and Cables
Colombia has extended for a period of three months the 15 percent AD duty it provisionally established in the on-going AD investigation of mainland Chinese galvanised steel stranded wire, pre-stressed concrete steel stranded wire, and steel cables classified under HTSCO 7312.10.9000.
Colombia Extends Deadline for Preliminary Determination in AD Probe of Steel Tube
Colombia has extended until 27 July the deadline for a preliminary determination in the on-going AD investigation of certain welded carbon steel tube classified under HTSCO 7306.30.1000, 7306.30.9200, 7306.30.9900, 7306.50.0000, 7306.61.0000, 7306.69.0000 and 7306.90.0000 from mainland China.
